Francis Amore Francis was born on St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. He started piano and organ studies at the age of 9 with Mr. Tyrone Lance, where his vigorous training allowed him to participate in competitions and music festivals. |

He was awarded prize pianist & musician upon completion of high school, and prepared for his college endeavors under the instruction of Dr. Lorna Young-Wright, musical coordinator and director for the University if the Virgin Islands, who graduated from the Peabody Institute of Performing Arts. Upon entering Kennesaw State University he studied with Dr. Marina Khitivia, alumni of Moscow State University in Russia and winner of numerous international competitions. With the opportunity to take part in overseas studies, he joined the Mission on Music organization to study and observe European as well as Russian musical traditions and etiquette. Amore is a recent graduate with his bachelors in piano performance and currently finishing his bachelors in music education. In addition to teaching piano he plans to begin his masters degree in piano performance and theory. |
