About Wilson Harwood:
Wilson is a diverse and talented multi-instrumentalist from Boulder, CO. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in Ethnomusicology where he focused on classical guitar. He now plays professionally with his band Rocktin Grove where he plays banjo, electric guitar, and the Cuban tres. Other notable projects include arranging and performing all of Willie Nelsons Red Headed Stranger with Ascential Dance Company. During the day Wilson teaches at the University of Colorado, The Lesson Studio, Lessons in Your Home and privately. These days you will most likely catch Wilson performing in venues around Boulder, Denver and Ft. Collins playing varying styles ranging from bluegrass, rock, funk, classical, jazz and country western.
Wilson is a patient, methodical teacher, that will inspire you to work toward achieving your musical goals. He believes in balancing song repertoire with a knowledge of theory and musical literacy. Most of all its about enjoying practice and having fun with your instrument.
