Monseur Jason began drumming at age 11 in North Philadelphia and studied under the master teacher Angelo Stella, who taught him reading, technique and all styles. After high school enrolled in Wilkes University's percussion ensemble and learned to play with an orchestra |

and further his reading skills. In 1995 was accepted to McNally-Smith College of Music in Minneapolis, St.Paul, Minnesota. This is where he became his own and learned so much from the amazing teachers there such as: music theory, ear training, music business, and advanced drum curriculum of reading, technique, styles, ensemble, and master classes. After graduating moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1998 and became part of the current music scene playing in a variety of bands, projects, studio work and teaching. You can see him in the gigging circuit with his band Liquid Jungle. |
