Kimberly Izor
Piano / Voice

I was born in Vermont, and was introduced to music at an early age. My father was a singer so I was constantly surrounded by music. At the age of ten, I started classical piano studies. I became very involved in the school band playing the flute, the keyboard in the jazz ensemble and singing in and

eventually becoming the choir’s accompanist.

Once in college, majoring in music, I formed a trio with two female singers and landed my first gig at a local restaurant. I performed regularly while working on my college requirements. As a performance major much of my time was spent performing in front of a live audience. I decided then that it would always be a very important part of my life.

Writing music began to take up more and more of my time. I took several composition and arranging classes. This would later benefit me when I recorded and released a CD in 1999 of my original material.

After graduating from college I immediately began performing in Private Country Clubs and became established in Naples, Florida. I lived there for 15 years continuing to perform in many prestigious places. I performed at the Registry Hotel for Former President Ford, and other famous celebrates such as Willie Nelson.

In August of 2001 I decided to move to Atlanta. I currently have a private teaching business and am also performing at various private Country Clubs and Hotels around the Atlanta area.
